Despacito Saves Puerto Rico
Ever since the song Despacito was released, the Puerto Rican economy rose dramatically, contributing in attracting more tourists to the US commonwealth located in the northeast Caribbean Sea.
According to a report by Un Nuevo Dia, the number of tourists increased by 45% after the release of the song, and that’s only two months after the governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló, declared the country’s bankruptcy.
