Safety over smart devices is a growing concern with parents, as children of today continue to be exposed to online threats.

A recent Child Safety Campaign that was organised by the UAE’s Supreme Council for Family Affairs, in conjunction with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, showed parents how to protect their children from the dangers of smart devices and social media.

The TRA says dangers that children and youth face when browsing the internet today includes cyber blackmail, cyber deception, stalking and mistakes that can lead to the hacking of data through their smart devices.
